While still working as an architect I participated in a number of solo and group exhibits of my paintings and photographs from 1988 to 1994 in Minnesota, Texas, and California.

WORK/ART RELATED ACTIVITIES:

2007-2012 part-time gallery assistant at Nina Bliese Gallery

1996-2007 guest critic/juror on final student projects, School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, University of Minnesota

1987-1994, co-founder and member of An Arch, a studio, gallery, and forum for sculptural architecture and structural art.  An Arch provided a space for discussion of public art and the built environment. We were also a design/build studio that completed a number of projects involving interior and exterior space.

1987-90 served as studio assistant for public artist Siah Armajani

1981, workshop and worked at Arcosanti, Paolo Soleri’s utopian archology in Arizona

1974-1988, full/part-time work for a number of different architects across the U.S.
